This is relevant as decks of units can be built thematically, by country, coalition (for example, Scandinavia, Eurocorps, the Blue Dragons, The Eastern Bloc, or the Red Dragons) by era or by type (mechanized, marines, support, airborne etc).
Answer (1 of 2): Medium cost, zero practical armor, BUT a great gun especially for the cost. Thematic decks provide bonuses such as extra unit slots, activation points, faction specific units etc. Rangers being recon means literally nothing for their dps nor does it help in a forest where ranges are small enough that optics doesnt matter (please read up on how things actually work before making claims like this), secondly rangers are inferior to vdv90 in all respects aside from aforementioned optics (which doesnt matter in a forest) and they are inferior to base vdv in all but AT.

Remember, knowing a deck and having a good one is one thing, knowing how to use it is another.The M8 can be useful but will not stand up to actually fullfil tank roles (I assume you are using this in my comment about fire support, which is generally and from looking at the units i mentioned refering to forest fire support and in this capacity the M8 is basically the exact opposite of what you want) And while the ability to deploy those depends on the map, Eugen has made certain that you won’t be able to just in the sea and bombard hapless pre-1975 Polish infantry decks with missiles. So here used to be very strong before Eugen ruined LGB. I've been playing these decks since release and adjustet them every patch. I also think that it may be helpful for some maybe to see decks of someone that has been playing team games successfully for a while. I fully endorse checking the decks out if you're in a lobby with or against me. I am sharing my top decks with you all because its no longer important to me if people know what I have and I want people to get better so that the challenge for me is greater.
